When we receive a referral to join one of our courses, an Uplifted worker will get in touch to offer you the opportunity to visit the gym and assign you a place on the most suitable course.
We currently have a waiting list, when we receive your referral you will be added to this list and contacted about courses when you reach the top.

Strength
12 week in person group strength training course.
Maximum 6 participants.
Working with experienced coaches and support workers.
Learn how to lift weights and get stronger in a supportive and empathetic environment.
Time for building connections and asking questions.
Tasters
One off taster sessions exploring different strength sports and activities with the support of the Uplifted team.
Maximum 8 participants.
Working with experienced coaches and support workers.
Learn new skills and take part in different sports, activities & movement in a supportive and empathetic environment.

Working with two coaches, great follow on option after completion of the funded courses.

After
On completion of an Uplifted course we hope that participants will have gained confidence using strength training equipment, learned new techniques and started to develop a support network.
What happens next?
We offer the following opportunities
Participants who want to continue to train with Uplifted will be able to attend our group training classes. These are bookable online and have a sliding scale payment option.
If participants feel they want to progress in a specific area, Uplifted may be able to help connect them with an appropriate coach or facility.
